Operating Procedures when filling oxygen, argon and nitrogen cylinders
In industrial production, oxygen, nitrogen and argon are widely used. Although their chemical properties are different, the following ten operating procedures should be followed during filling.
1. Check whether the temperature and pressure control device at the gas outlet of the cryogenic liquid carburetor is in normal condition
Before filling, check whether the temperature and pressure control device at the gas outlet of the cryogenic liquid carburetor is in normal condition; Before opening the cryogenic liquid pump, there should be a cold pump process; Low temperature operators should wear reliable anti-frostbite labor protection supplies.
2. Check whether the gas cylinder is qualified
Before filling, the cylinders must be checked to ensure that they have been inspected or properly disposed of (there should be records) before being allowed to fill.
3. Check the interface threads
When filling with error-proof joint, it is necessary to carefully check whether the thread of the cylinder valve outlet is consistent with the thread type stipulated by the filled gas, and whether the parts of the error-proof joint are flexible and easy to use.
4.Listen for noise inside the cylinder
Open the cylinder valve should be operated slowly, and should pay attention to monitor the cylinder abnormal sound.
5.Check the pressure and seal inside the cylinder
Before the gas pressure in the cylinder reaches 7Mpa, it is necessary to check whether the temperature of the cylinder body is generally consistent . When the gas pressure in the cylinder reaches 10Mpa, it is necessary to check whether the seal of the cylinder valve is good. When anomalies are found, handle them promptly and properly.
6. Check whether the gas flow rate matches the gas temperature
The discharge volume of the cryogenic pump should match the heat exchange area and filling volume of the carburetor. The filling time of each cylinder should not be less than 30min, and the filling flow rate of the cylinder should not be greater than 8m3/h (gas in standard state). The outlet temperature of carburetor shall not be lower than 0℃ when the gas cylinder is filled.
7.It is forbidden to fill the empty cylinder after the filling pressure is reached
When filling a gas cylinder with an inflatable busbar, do not insert an empty cylinder when the pressure of the cylinder group reaches 10% of the filling pressure.
8. Pay attention to the charging pressure at different temperatures
Filling permanent gas (oxygen, argon, nitrogen) with domestic gas cylinders (nominal working pressure of 15Mpa) at different filling temperatures shall not exceed the maximum filling pressure (gauge pressure) .
9.After filling, check the pressure, tightness, deformation and temperature inside the cylinder
After filling the cylinder, the cylinder inspector should check the pressure inside the cylinder one by one, the tightness of the connection between the valve and the mouth of the cylinder, the deformation and leakage of the cylinder body, the abnormal rise of the temperature of the cylinder body, the integrity of the cylinder accessories and warning labels, and properly handle the failure to meet the requirements.
10. The gas cylinder filling personnel shall fill in the filling certificate in time
The gas cylinder filling personnel should fill in the Filling Certificate in time and paste it on the obvious part of the gas cylinder, and fill in the filling record carefully to ensure that the content is complete and the handwriting is clear. The cylinder filling record shall be kept for no less than 2 years.
